Providing services at an early age is extremely beneficial for children on the spectrum to increase major long-term positive effects on symptoms. Speech therapy helps with understanding the differently abled brain of someone with Autism.

Not for people with social deficits. Social skills are not always as "easy" as they seem to be. Speech therapy helps with applying perspective to everyday scenarios for people with Autism.

Communication is not just spoken language. Gestures, symbols, pictures, sign language and AAC are also modes of communication.
